My name is Frank Weiler. I am an expert in information technology, technology-driven business models and business development.
With a doctorate in applied mathematics and a background in computer science, I combine a deep understanding of technology with extensive experience in business, strategy and corporate leadership. Throughout my career, I have held a range of senior management positions, including CIO of a publicly listed national telecommunications group and Head of Software Development at an internationally operating listed software company.
Since 2008, I have advised companies ranging from medium-sized businesses to large corporations on a wide variety of technological, strategic and commercial challenges. My focus is not on technology for technology’s sake, but on understanding its potential and turning it into tangible business value.
I am also actively involved in start-ups where technology plays a fundamental role in the business model and its competitive advantage.

I greatly enjoy sharing knowledge and making complex subjects accessible. Following my time at RWTH Aachen University, I now lecture on IT Strategy at RFH Cologne and regularly speak on current technology topics – from AI and Data Analytics to digital business models.
Quant Trader
Financial markets and the mechanisms behind them have fascinated me for many years. Combining mathematics, computer science and financial markets naturally led me to algorithmic trading. This resulted in the development of my own trading software for the automated trading of leveraged certificates.
